~Mami Daphne~
Daphne is a Latina mompreneur living in North Carolina with her supportive, loving husband of 10 years and her two wonderful children – Brandon, 7 years old and Amelia Rose, 2 ½ years old.
Several months ago she celebrated a milestone birthday and has since then come to realize the many different paths her life has taken her down. From spending years in the corporate world, to teaching, to opening up her own business she still believes that her most rewarding job starts at home with her children and husband.
Today she is Co-Owner of Here We Grow Again – A Unique Boutique which is a children’s consignment boutique. And thanks to her extensive experience in marketing, advertising and retail sales she has been able to thrive in her newest role as mompreneur.
“I feel like my life has come full circle for me and I am enjoying every moment of it! I look forward to sharing advice, meeting other moms and blogging about my experiences.”
~Mommy Shauna~
Shauna is first and foremost a Mommy to two handsome boys – a 5 year old and a 7 month old. She feels blessed to have a husband who is truly devoted to his family. Though born in Jamaica she now calls The South her permanent home.
As a WOHM (Work Outside of Home Mom) she often finds it hard to be away from her “loves” all day. However, she truly enjoys her career and considers it an important part of her life.
“I know that this blog journey is going to be an exciting one and I hope you decide to join me. Together we can experience the ins and outs of parenting, family, work, and much more! Here’s hoping to see you around the Mommy Block!”
~Auntie Dawn~
Dawn hasn’t had the honor of having her own children yet but is proud to be called Auntie by her adorable 3-year-old nephew. Loving every minute of her role as Auntie she looks forward to one day starting a family of her own.
She feels very blessed to be able to have a glimpse into the world of parenting and knows that she will be able to benefit from these precious experiences with her own child one day.
“The thought of one day becoming a mom is both terrifying and exhilarating! But spending time with my nephew has shown me that even though children don’t come with an instruction manual, I’ll be okay.”
