Change is Good With New Pampers Baby Dry!

This post is sponsored by Pampers. All opinions are my own.

This past week I was provided some samples of the new Pampers Baby Dry for my little guy, A.J., who is now 13 months old. We’ve always been a Pampers family and with our second child we knew that it would be our go-to diaper again. But with 8 years since we last had a baby in diapers many things have changed. Seeing some of those changes were a bit overwhelming, scary and sometimes disappointing. Lucky for us Pampers changed and just got even better!

If your kids are like ours they have many similarities and just as many differences. My firstborn, Shaun, was shy with a soft personality but super active. I was a breastfeeding mami and nursing him was usually enough to get him to go right to sleep. On very rare occasions he would wake up in the middle of the night and need a diaper change, but it was rare. We stuck to our Pampers Swaddlers & Cruisers because that is what worked best for him.

Fast forward 8 years and Shaun’s little brother A.J. is super outgoing, with a strong personality and SUPER active! I’m pretty certain he came out ready to party all night long! I have also been breastfeeding A.J. but it wasn’t aways enough to get him to go to sleep. So he would want to nurse more often throughout the night and sometimes into the wee hours of the morning. This meant more diaper changes and the last thing this exhausted mami wanted to do was change yet another diaper after the millionth feeding session of the night.

Luckily, after getting my hands on the new Pampers Baby Dry this changed tremendously. You see, Pampers has such a great understanding of what parents want. They understand how important sleep is for our baby’s development and for parents sanity. And research shows babies’ skin can sense wetness, acting as little “alarm clocks” that can potentially wake them from that blessed, peaceful sleep we as parents sometimes have to work so hard to achieve.

The first thing I noticed with the Pampers Baby Dry diapers was how thin and soft they were. But don’t let the thinness fool you. These diapers absorb so much and yet still kept baby dry. They also seemed super flexible and I was certain my little one would be comfortable sleeping and/or playing in them. And just as I thought, A.J., slept like a baby should.

With the Extra Absorb Channels that exist on Swaddlers and Cruisers, and now on Pampers Baby Dry, you can be sure your baby will stay comfortable and drier throughout the night. That makes for happy baby AND happy mami!

What you can expect from the new Pampers Baby Dry:

  • New Pampers Baby Dry is thinner and drier* (currently available in sizes 5&6) for outstanding overnight protection and comfort.  Now all Pampers diapers offer exclusive Extra Absorb Channels to help baby sleep through the night *vs. previous Baby Dry.
  • Pampers diapers undergo extensive testing with pediatricians, dermatologists and moms to ensure products meet and exceed the needs of their most important customers – babies.
  • Pampers Baby Dry diapers are now enhanced with Extra Absorb Channels yet it is the same diaper you have come to trust to give your baby up to 12 hours of overnight protection.

After reading about the new Pampers Baby Dry I know you want to run out and get yours, I don’t blame you, they rock! But *please note: Pampers is in the process of rolling out this launch. Which means you may find the new and older packaging on shelves now BUT only the new Pampers Baby Dry in Sizes 5 and 6 are currently on shelves with the other sizes being available sometime before December 2017. So keep an eye out!

I’m so glad that as I work with baby A.J. at sleeping through the night we have Pampers on our side. That means that changing his diaper in the middle of the night AND changing his diaper to Pampers Baby Dry is a win-win for us all! Who said change wasn’t good?
