I would give anything to be pregnant right now. I’m thinking my son, Shaunsito, could really use a playmate and I miss that newborn baby smell. Gets me every time. And wouldn’t you know it, Pampers is doing everything in its power to make me want to have another baby! Okay, I jest. They aren’t doing EVERYTHING but they are sure making it tough for this mami to hold off any longer. In any event, though I’m not preggers YET, I still have 2 amazing secretos – secrets to share with all of you.

Secreto #1 – Through the generosity of Pampers one (1) lucky Latina/mami-to-be will receive a $500 gift card for their very own Little Miracle Baby Shower!

I am also fortunate to be able to work on this Little Miracles campaign alongside some amazing blogueras – Culture Mami, Latina On a Mission, and Mama Contemporanea - who will also be giving away $500 gift cards on their respective blogs.

Now I know what your thinking already. ¿Porque? – Why? Well, because Pampers knows just how important our little miracles are to us and because they have always done an amazing job of reaching out to the Latino community by providing ongoing parenting support and baby care information. And aside from that they just rock!

  • I would love to win this amazing giveaway and have the opportunity to give my little miracle an amazing baby shower. I am expecting my primer angelito and we are so excited and happy. My husband and I had been struggling with infertility treatments for the past two years, and in May of this year I took a new drug. My doctor said it did not work and we were going to have to try it again. Dissapointed I decided to wait until mother nature took it’s course and see what happened. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative, but 4 days later I took another one and it came out positive! The specialist had been scared since the beggining, giving us so not great news. At first the sac was too small and then the heart beat was very weak. Well yesterday I had my first appt with the obstetrician and we saw and heard our angelito and everything is going great! Por fin voy a ser mama!!

Mil gracias to you and Pampers for this amazing opportunity!!

I am nominating myself for this wonderful opportunity. I am finally pregnant after 13 yrs with my 2nd baby. My husband and I waited and when we finally decided to have a baby well we could not get pregnant. Every month my hopes would get high but then nothing. SO I got really depressed and decided to just stop. Well what a surprise did we receive, when I was actually pregnant. We went in to see the OB/GYN and I was told there was too much fluid behind the baby’s neck. I was sent to a genetic test to check everything, and everything came back good. At 14 weeks, a week after the genetic test came back good, I almost lost my baby. I still cry when I think about that day when I woke up bleeding. I rushed to the hospital. The doctor said for some reason the miscarriage had stop. (MIRACLE) And she put me on bed rest. The bleeding continued for 4 days. I stayed on bedrest for a week and a half and returned to see her. She said the baby looks good but I am still at high risk and was placed on light duty. TO me everyday we pass, every week we pass, is another blessing just like my little miracle. Just today I made 20 weeks. And yesterday I found out I am having a baby girl. Funny thing is I am the only girl on my mom’s side of the family. She only had me and 3 boys after trying to get another girl. My 1st born is a boy, and my brother also had a boy. So we are so excited that we are going to finally have a baby girl in our family. Baby are a great joy. I love babies. I love my little baby girl and have loved her from the moment I saw the little dot on the ultrasound. I am still at high risk but I know my little miracle is strong! I would love to win this prize. after all the test, drs visit, specialist, it will all be worth it when I can hold my baby girl!

    Thanks for this giveaway. super_alba_star@yahoo.com

Thank you for this giveaway! My baby is a miracle baby for many reasons, here is our story: After a year of trying to get pregnant I had given up hope on having another child. I assumed that if it wasn’t happening naturally, I wasn’t going to force it (meaning going to fertility treatments etc) I thought there was a reason why I shouldn’t have more kids and I was at peace with the idea of having only one child.
We got pregnant unexpectedly and were so excited!! I knew this baby was supposed to teach us something and it didn’t take us long to find out what. Financial trouble got only worse, my husband and I work on contract basis with a couple of entities (county based) in LA and of course budget cuts affected us tremendously! A big contract that was potentially going to help us stay afloat didn’t happened and as up to date we’re pretty much done for the year with our other contracts without any hopes of renewing any of them. This little life inside of me is giving me the strength to face every day with hope of a brighter future, he or she (as we are not finding out the gender) has taught me that asking for help is not a bad thing. Asking for help has been a learning process that has given me back the faith in humankind and it also has reminded me that Dios aprieta pero no ahorca!

I would love to win this for my sister who had her first baby and unfortunately she did not have a baby shower. I would would to surprise her and my new precious niece with something special.

  • I would like to nominate myself…I am currently expecting a little miracle and I can’t wait to meet her/him! This is my second child after 10 years I finally found someone I would want to have another child with and we are both very excited! Although I have not had any major complications this pregnancy is totally different from my first, not one day has passed where I have felt great. But I know I will get through it and it will be totally worth it when I have my little bundle of joy in my arms.
