HPRA, Hispanic PR Blog and Mami2Mommy Launch ‘Latino Bloggers Compensation Survey’

– Results of national survey will be revealed October 20 during ‘Mami Bloggers’ Webinar

LOS ANGELES — The Hispanic Public Relations Association, the Hispanic PR Blog and mommy blogger Mami2Mommy are launching a national survey to gauge how Latino bloggers are being compensated, what rates they feel other bloggers should charge and more.

The “2010 Latino Bloggers Compensation Survey” consists of 22 questions primarily for Spanish, English and bilingual bloggers who publish content for U.S. Hispanic and Puerto Rico-based audiences.

“Latino bloggers, and in particular some Latina mom bloggers are concerned that marketers don’t always understand how to best work with them,” said Lourdes Rodriguez, president of the Los Angeles chapter of HPRA.  “This national survey will reveal how most Latino bloggers feel about working with brands particularly when it comes to the touchy issue of compensation.”

The 4-minute survey can be accessed at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CVGBB7R through midnight Friday, October 8.  The results of the survey will be revealed during the free webinar “Meet the Mamis: A Roundtable with the Nation’s Leading Mami Bloggers” that is being hosted by HPRA, the Word of Mouth Marketing Association and the Hispanic PR Blog on Wednesday, October 13.  To register for the webinar go to http://bit.ly/aWq8Ps.
