I cannot begin to tell you how amazing World Fitness Day was last Saturday. In my original post I talked about all the amazing fitness experts that would be on hand and could not believe I was able to chat and pose for pictures with Billy Blanks and Richard Simmons – they were completely amazing.
I’m guessing that it was the thrill of meeting them and watching over 1,500 people at the Georgia Dome get down and dirty that truly pumped me up! I not only worked my butt off but I live tweeted during the event which I think helped me to burn a few more calories, don’t ya think? By the way if you missed the event you can still catch it via Ustream. You won’t see my sweaty self – thank the lord – but you’ll get to see Jane Fonda and crew making us all work it!
I can’t wait for next year’s event and hopefully by then I won’t be huffing and puffing as much after the workout. I do feel motivated and ready to take on my Tae Bo tapes, my Wii Fit, and running after 1 year old Shaunsito! Just need to stay positive and focused. Tell me what you do to either lose weight, maintain, or tone up. And remember to do it in a healthy manner. There are no short cuts when it comes to your health and well-being!
