Hello and welcome! – ¡Hola y bienvenido!

If you have reached this page you are probably curious to know a little bit about me and Mami 2 Mommy.  So, let me begin.

My name is Jennifer and soy una Latina – I am a Latina.  My family is from Peru; however, I was born and raised in New York.   Coming from a bilingual family is probably the reason I am often heard using “Spanglish” – despite my  mother’s protests.  ¡Lo siento! - Sorry!

Currently I reside in Georgia with my wonderful husband, Shaun, and our 5-month-old son who is lovingly referred to by his abuelita – grandmother as Shaunsito.

When I am not pursuing my passion for writing you can find me working for the International Business Department of a very well-known corporation.  Though my career is incredibly important to me,  my greatest achievement has been outside of that…the birth of my son.  He is my inspiration and “la luz de mi vida” – “the light of my life”.  Because of Shaunsito I am able to share my experiences with you…Mami 2 Mommy.
