Get EVEREADY® to Read & Get #Free Books with Scholastic!

Submitted by on 04/30/2014 – 2:30 pmNo Comment

Disclosure: This post is brought to you by EVEREADY® however, all opinions are my own.

Our 5-year-old, Shaunsito looks just like his daddy. He acts like his daddy. He is just a little mini version of my husband. When he was born all I could think was that he had inherited nothing from me. Until he began to read at 3-years-old. His love of reading is something I hold close to my heart because reading has always meant the world to me. Being able to share some of my favorite stories with Shaunsito and also discovering new books together truly makes me happy. And my husband, who freely admits that he was never a big reader, now joins us in reading and it has definitely brought our family closer together.

My Fly Kid reading Fly Guy!

That’s why when I found out about a great promotion that EVEREADY® had going on jointly with Scholastic I was really excited to share it with all of you! Scholastic does such wonderful things for kids and they always make reading enjoyable. Add to the fact that EVEREADY® has reliable and affordable products makes this deal a win-win for all families!

The Deal: Buy two (2) specially marked packs of EVEREADY® Gold® batteries or EVEREADY® flashlights = a FREE Scholastic book!

Redeem: Head over to Eveready.com/reader and enter the 10-digit codes found on specially marked EVEREADY® packages.

*2 codes = 1 book (maximum of 2 books per household)

Your book choices: Clifford Sees America, Fly Guy vs. The Fly Swatter and The Magic School Bus Takes a Moonwalk.

And if the weather has been nearly as crazy in your town as it has been in ours, making sure you have extra batteries on hand and the right resources to prepare for an emergency are always a help. So, after you put in your codes at Eveready.com/reader, don’t forget to check out the rest of the website for Emergency Readiness resources for your family, including downloadable printables like Family Battery Replacement Reminder and Emergency Contact List.

Remember, if your lights turn out during a storm this summer you’ll be ready with your EVEREADY® flashlight and your child can grab their favorite Scholastic book. Being prepared and knowing that our son is calmly reading will make riding out a scary thunderstorm just a little easier for all of us!
