DISCOVER MILLS HOSTS 8TH ANNUAL LEGO RACE BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 8

LEGO-lovers are invited to design LEGO cars and compete for prizes

WHAT: The 8th Annual “LEGO Race Back to School” at Discover Mills is a fun competition to create custom-designed vehicles made exclusively out of LEGO products. Cars will compete in one of three race categories based on size: 10 to 19 studs; 20 to 27 studs; and 28 to 36 studs. Trophies will be awarded for the first, second, and third place winners in each category. Plus, following the last children’s race category, an adult race will take place with all sizes up to 36 studs.

WHEN: Saturday, September 8*
10-19 studs: 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
20-27 studs: 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
28-36 studs: 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

*Registration for each category must be completed no later than ten minutes before each race start.
