Will Love Find a Way This Holiday Season? Watch #ConnectingFlights And Find Out! #spon
I have always loved traveling but have a special place in my heart for traveling by plane.
It’s the anticipation of getting to my destination, the unexpectedness of what will happen at the airport, and the people I may meet along the way that really makes it complete for me. And boy do I ever connect with some fascinating people on my travels!
One of the last trips I’ve taken I was surprised to hear my flight was being commandeered by none other than Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Star Trek anyone?) - which elicited many giggles throughout the plane. And as I was sitting there, giggling myself, I looked over at a man and a woman who looked very deep in conversation. They seemed to have been the only ones not laughing along. I was about to find out why. The woman started crying and at that moment I thought, oh no! But it was more like, oh yes! The couple started smiling and laughing. Apparently the woman told her husband that she was pregnant with their first child and I was there to witness that special moment.
Granted those moments don’t always happen like that. We’re usually too busy rushing through security, getting to our flight on time, and dealing with luggage that we miss out on the things that are right in front of us. So, many opportunities of sharing life with others around us just passes us by.
This holiday season don’t let those connections slip by when your at the airport or on the plane. Say hello, help a fellow passenger out with their luggage, engage in a little small talk, or just sit back and witness everything that is going on around you. You’ll be amazed at what you learn about yourself and others.
Who knows just how far one simple hello may go. You may even meet the person of your dreams!
Fortunately for us our friends at Sears are on the same page about our love for connecting at the airport. Watch the video below to find out whether or not love found a way this holiday season for two bloggers in this fun & sweet video, Connecting Flights.
Enjoy!
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, I am a Sears blogger, though all opinions are my own.
