The Callaway Gardens Harvest Moon Festival is a 4 day event beginning on Thursday, October 6th with a Harvest Feast, hosted by a celebrity chef and featuring local ingredients, some coming from the ground directly beneath the table! Friday is a day to explore Callaway Gardens and its many natural wonders, including the remarkable 7.5 acre Mr. Cason’s Vegetable Garden, and Friday evening marks the beginning of two days of music featuring top rock and contemporary artists on two stages, all set on the white-sand beaches of Robin Lake, the world’s largest man-made beach. The festival grounds will include a kid’s zone, a 10,000 square foot fesitival tent playing college football on giant screens, and a super-sized version of Callaway Gardens’ weekly Farmers Market, with additional vendors offering environmentally conscious products and services.

My family and I will be heading there also and we cannot wait to show Shaunsito around, sample the food, and listen to all the great music.
