  • Let me tell you what goes into parenting a toddler, especially one that faces obstacles or challenges...you live and breathe every tiny little step forward or just want to jump up and down when something that you may have taken for granted with your first child is a huge step for their younger sibling. You see, A.J. loves ❤️❤️❤️ @pjmasks and I’ve used it to motivate some other interests...coloring is one of those things. What some may see here as just scribble scrabble I see something different...I see that he connected the color of his fave characters, I see that he was holding the crayon really well, I see he was NOT trying to chomp on the crayon like many times before😂, I see that he wasn’t trying to obsessively peel at the crayon, nor throw the paper to the ground. I see that he lined up some of his favorite crayons because that’s what makes him happy, I see that he favors his left hand but will sneak in a quick switcheroo to the right hand but only when coloring with the blue. I see that he sat in his chair, at his little table and worked at this. I see that when he was done with his masterpiece he presented it to me with a big smile on his face! I love that because of him I SEE so much more clearly now & can appreciate all the things I had maybe not noticed before. Again, you may see just a kids silly coloring page but when I see it, I see A.J. and that makes me so proud!

  • After a busy day with my kids I treated myself to this yummy little treat...an unbelievably delicious macaron from @thecupcakequeenwaxhaw. Her cupcakes are still my favorite but man I’ll fight my kids for one of these babies too! 😂 Not to worry, I’m a good mami & let them both have one earlier but this one I’m eating alone...in the corner of the little ones room...behind the curtain...with the lights off and door closed. 🤫Shhh...ain’t no kiddo finding me & my treat now! 🤪
