As some of you know a few weeks ago I was invited to Miami for the re-launch of QueRicaVida.com , the brainchild of General Mills. QueRicaVida.com is a wonderful Spanish-language lifestyle website for women and a great resource for parenting, food, savings, health, and education.
I can’t even begin to tell you what a whirlwind 3 days it was! The first night there I, along with 100 plus Latina bloggers, editors, and reporters, were invited to dinner at a wonderful restaurant called The Rusty Pelican and serenaded by a lovely, all-female mariachi group, Las Damas de Jalisco.
I really do have to applaud General Mills for their incredible efforts in reaching out to the Latino community and hopefully setting the example for other companies to follow. The main gala event was not only elegant but had such an incredible vibe and being around that many amazing Latino/as was exhilarating!
Thank you again to General Mills and QueRicaVida.com for inviting us to what is sure to turn into a perfect case study for those companies looking to reach out to the Latino community. Y un abrazo grande – a big hug – to all the lovely bloggers that were a part of this monumental event.
